I'm one of those people who expects things to work, and to get what I pay for. I only ask as a customer for the same commitment to excellence that I give to my own clients. Which is a tall order that most companies just can't deliver on.
I changed hosts because my very longtime provider suddenly stopped providing me the service I'd been paying for for about a decade. Life is too LONG to do business with companies like that.
I did intensive research when choosing a new host; I'm not planning on changing horses every week. And Siteground had all these customer accolades that none of the other hosts were getting.
Turns out they're for real. I've had some glitches (am in the middle of one right now) and even when it's my own user error, they're fast and generous with support.
As these things go, in this day and age, my experience has been nothing short of SPECTACULAR.
I'm a frugal gal and I'm not excited about the price increase that I'll get hit with next fall when my first year's discount expires, but I'm not going to be switching providers, either. I just tell myself that extra $5 a month is buying me the best support money can buy. Heck, I can't even go to a movie for that price.
"Priceless" comes to mind.
