The time Master Template saved us in setting up workable office standards more than pays for itself each week. It is a fantastic addition to the tools available to an architect using ArchiCAD.
I have been using ArchiCAD since 5.5, and have used other templates over the years. After tweaking the Master Template to my office standards, it is like driving the perfect convertible on a spring day down the coast to Big Sur and having lunch.
AMT is one good way to jump the BIM learning curve. It helps you organize your first project like you had done a hundred before - and puts a lot of great tools at your fingertips, which saves a lot of time searching the web. Recommended.
